Homemade Granola



Homemade Granola
8 cups old fashioned oats
1 1/2-2 cups coconut
3/4 cup sliced almonds

1 1/2 cups honey
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt

In a large mixing bowl, mix together oats, coconut and almonds. Set aside.

In a small saucepan, melt coconut oil. Add honey, salt and vanilla, and bring to a simmer.

Pour over oats and toss to coat. Pour evenly onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

Heat oven to 350

Bake until golden brown, stirring every 15 minutes until done.

Makes about 10 cups

Maple Almond Cream Cheese Dessert Dip



Maple Almond Cream Cheese Dessert Dip
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
½ cup pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon almond extract
Zest of 1 orange
Sliced almonds (for garnish)
Fruit and Cookies (for serving)


In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese until smooth. Add the yogurt, maple syrup, almond extract and orange zest. Blend until smooth
Transfer dip to a bowl and garnish with sliced almonds if desired. Serve with fruit and cookies.
